  Damage caused by animals.
  The owner of an animal or whoever uses it for the time in which he has it in use, is responsible for the damage caused by the animal, whether it was in his custody, or whether it was lost or escaped, unless proven by fortuitous circumstances.
  Important elements:
  I) Responsibility of the owner and of the possessor even temporarily;
  II) Damage caused to both people and things (including other animals) is a source of compensation;
  III) The existence of damage must be demonstrated by the injured party;
  IV) Burden of proof, to exclude the existence of liability, is borne by the owner/possessor.
